Warehouse Teamleader

As a Teamlead Warehouse, you are the first point of contact for the inbound or outbound team, and you resolve issues within the daily operations. Does this sound like something for you? What will you be doing?

As Teamlead Warehouse, you are responsible for the daily operational logistics processes in our automated warehouse of over 8000m2. You ensure efficiency by creating a good task distribution and proactively and independently resolving any errors or issues in the processes. You are the primary contact for your assigned team of about 15 to 25 warehouse colleagues, where you lead, motivate, and coach them. You also provide them with clear work instructions and address their behavior in terms of order, cleanliness, and safety. Because you are in the midst of the operation, you are also willing to get your hands dirty when the situation calls for it. Together with your fellow team leaders and supervisors, you ensure that the warehouse has successfully operated at the end of each day, and the established KPIs are achieved with your team.

You work alternately in day and evening shifts, but if you are not a morning person or want to take your children to school in the morning, no problem! This position can be scheduled in the evening shift from 2:30 pm to 11:30 pm or on weekends. Surcharge rates apply during our evening and weekend hours.

What's in your toolkit?

🚀 have at least a vocational education level (MBO+);

👨‍💼 have 1 to 3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in logistics or you are eager to take the next step towards a leadership role;

💻 have experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS);

💪 you are proactive, take initiative, and are hands-on;

✅ you are resilient to stress and always maintain an overview;

🚗 you have your own transportation to Hapert;

🤸‍♀️ are flexible to work in the evening or on weekends when required;

👨‍⚕️ are a certified Emergency Response Officer (BHV) or willing to become one;

🗣️ have a good command of the English language, and if you also speak Dutch or Polish, that is a plus.

Working hours are as follows (preferences negotiable):

Monday to Friday from 07:00 - 16:00 or 14:30 - 23:30.
Saturday from 14:00 - 22:00 (from September to April).
Sunday from 12:30 - 21:30 and 14:30 - 23:30.
